Our Story

I’m Peter, the proud parent and storyteller behind this blog, dedicated to sharing the lives and adventures of my two beloved cats, Maruay and Numchoke.
My journey with cats began when a free-roaming cat started to frequently visit my backyard. Initially, I began feeding him just to make his life a bit easier.
Gradually, what started with just food. I began searching for outdoor cat houses to keep him warm. After a while, I noticed other predators, such as coyotes and a family of raccoons, also visiting frequently.
Concerned for the cat’s safety, I started letting him into my garage at night, and then back out during the day. Eventually, I decided to adopt him and took him to the vet for a check-up.
A year later, I felt it was time to find a companion for my cat. Another free-roaming cat caught my attention, and I planned to adopt him. However, I was unsure if this would be successful, as my cat often chased him away. They had engaged in many fierce fights. Determined to find a solution, I conducted research on how to help them become friends. To my delight, the effort was successful. That’s how I ended up with two lovely cats.

- Maruay:
